Fluffy Chocolate Covered Heart Cakes

Baking a chocolate cake is all exciting and fun, but what will make it even more fun and delicious is a heart shaped cake. A simple chocolate cake would be too mainstream, why not add some styles and make it a cute looking and attractive cake.

Fluffy Chocolate Covered Heart Cakes

·        1 1/2 tbsp sugar
·        3 eggs
·        3 tbsp hot water
·        1/4 cup sugar (for meringue)
·        1/2 cup flour
·        1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
·        1 1/2 tbsp sugar
·        3 1/3 tbsp heavy cream
·        7 ounces chocolate (for melting)
·        sprinkles and bunties (for decoration)

Let's get started...
First grab two bowls and separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and put it in these bowls separately.

To make the meringue, start beating egg whites with the help of an electric mixer and add 2 tbsp granulated sugar. You have to beat the egg white to its maximum level so that it becomes stiff.

Now take another bowl of egg yolks, 2 tbsp sugar, hot water and vegetable oil, beat the mixture appropriately.

Refine the flour with the strainer and beat it with the egg yolks mixture.

Take one big spoon of meringue and mix it into the egg yolks mixture with the beater. Again repeat this process. Remember you should not take the whole bowl of meringue at once. You have to do this by taking a big spoonful amount of meringue and adding it one by one.

Blend the mixture properly.

Grab a line baking pan and place parchment paper on it. You have to bake it at 350 degrees F i.e for about 12 minutes.

Cut the heart shapes of that cake, after the cake has cooled.

Merge the cream with the sugar and beat severely until it becomes soft.

Cover the heart shape cake with that soft whipped cream and after doing that apply another layer of cake.

Spread the melted chocolate over the cake and decorate it with sprinkles/bunties or you can even use any other topping.

Enjoy this delicious recipe with your friends and family :)
