Easy Cannoli Cream Filling Recipe

Cannoli is an Italian pastry originated from a region named Sicily in Italy, it is also known as Sicilian cannoli. It is a delicious and yummy dessert and very popular all around the Europe and North America. This article is all about the Cannolis, how to make them at home easily without any difficulty. The recipe is taken from BakerbyNature. It’s a very easy recipe as it requires only five ingredients and two steps to make it.

Easy Cannoli Cream Filling Recipe

This recipe takes 15 minutes to prepare and this will make 8 cannolis.

8 cannoli shells, homemade or readymade
2 cups ricotta cheese
2/3 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

First step is to drain the ricotta cheese in the fridge for atleast 15 hours, place it in mesh strainer and refrigerate it.

Second step is to make the filling, take a large bowl and mix drained ricotta cheese, confectioners' sugar, half of chocolate chips and vanilla extract. Scrape the mixture into pastry bag using a spatula. You can use it immediately or refrigerate it if needed because filling can be made in advance. Once ready, fill the cannoli shell with the filling from both the ends. Do the same for the remaining shells. Pour some sugar for decoration and chips at the two ends of the cannoli.

You can also use chocolate in the cream or dip the shells in it, as shown in the picture.

You are ready to enjoy cannoli. The best is to serve the cannoli immediately after decoration.
